Chapter 1 - Browsing the papers

Was too lazy over the long weekend to look through the 'Recruit' section in the papers.
Finally got down to it today. 


Let's see what's out there.


a) Gaming - Surveillance 
Skills required: emotional detachment when carrying out tasks, rope knotting, radical hammer application on soft appendage techniques 
No, the skills part is from me. 
The ad had just 2 words. And the name company hiring.


b) Lecturer (Military Studies) 
"...an appreciation  of lessons learnt in past military campaigns..."
My last one was more than 20 years back. I guess you could call me a veteran. Me and brother, we fought wars. Against each other with 2 inch plastic soldiers (a 50 piece Plastic Soldier Set packed in a 11" x 8" poly bag cost less than five ringgit back then) 


c) Tavern and Brewery Supervisor
Quite the dream job, but not too sure about the pay or if it will still be fun after 2 weeks.


d) Private Investigator
- no experience required
- those with own motorbikes preferred


My experience?

Previous professions: Management Consultant, Fund Management Exec, Commodities Operations (in that order)
Qualifications: Degree in Computing, some Scholarship
